Wat Wang Wiwekharam

Wat Wang Wiwekaram or more familiarly known as Wat Luang Pho Uttama is a temple that is infused with Mon culture. The church, the temple, the pagoda, and the Buddha statues inside the temple were created with Mon-Burmese art that blends perfectly with Thainess. It is located above the Vajiralongkorn Dam in Sangkhla Buri District, Kanchanaburi Province, which was newly built to replace the original temple that was flooded during the construction of the dam.
