My first trek at “San Nok Wua” My friend said it was moderately difficult. From asking my regular trekking friend, the forest usually doesn’t have leeches because it’s not very humid. But since I’m a child who loves God, a leech came and clung to my leg (I think it happened at the 2nd resting point). But I thought it was because the leaves got into my shoes because they were a bit itchy. My friend asked if I wanted socks. I refused twice because I didn’t want to wear them because my shoes were too tight. When I reached the 3rd resting point, I was sitting and blood was flowing all over my shoes. The leeches had eaten their fill and let them out. When I took off my shoes, the blood kept gushing and flowing. So I had to wipe the blood and put on socks. When I reached the camping site, the blood still hadn’t stopped flowing. So the officer gave me antihistamines. I knew then that I was allergic to leeches. The atmosphere up there was great. The air was cool and comfortable. The wind blew. It made me feel less tired. In the morning, I woke up to see the sea of ​​fog. I sat and enjoyed the cool breeze. In my heart, it was worth it to come here. On the way back, another test of strength occurred. The rain started to fall harder and harder. The slipperiness got worse. As I was about to slip, I grabbed a tree by the side of the road, but that tree had thorns. Awesome… God tested my strength. On the way back, I asked myself, “What am I doing here?” “Is this a way of life?” But I had some time for myself, and I thought about it along the way.
