Nanshan Temple | Sanya

Our first stop was the Nanshan Scenic Area, the first scenic spot we visited in Sanya. I think it's worth a visit. This is the Nanshan of the well-known saying, "May your happiness be as immense as the Eastern Sea and your life as long as Nanshan Mountain." We visited the 108-meter-tall white-robed Guanyin statue, experiencing a sense of pious faith. We burned incense and copied Buddhist scriptures. While copying the scriptures, we muted our phones and focused on the text and the Buddhist rituals. It brought us a moment of inner peace. After copying the scriptures, we followed the crowd to the underground area of Guanyin's lotus throne, marveling at the 108-meter statue. We walked around the statue, prayed, and looked out at the distant sea. Its colors ranged from blue to green, and seeing its hues, I felt that they were exactly as they should be. We gazed quietly into the distance, feeling the wind and the sea, relaxing, listening, meditating, and daydreaming. Afterwards, we visited the 33 Bodhisattva Hall and Nanshan Temple, experiencing the charm of Nanshan culture. Tickets🎫: 108/person Transportation🚗: We took a DiDi (ride-hailing service). (Carpooling is recommended, as many people visit this attraction. We met two young ladies when we left our hotel, and they also arrived at Nanshan Temple.
