Motsuyaki Sakino: A Renowned Spot in Sendai Ginza

Located in Sendai Ginza, this restaurant boasts a modern Japanese-style exterior and is always bustling with customers. Thanks to a friend who made a reservation, I had the chance to visit. We were seated at the counter for two. We ordered the chef's selection of skewers (5 pieces each). The staff first asked about any parts we might dislike, and then served rare cuts not listed on the menu. Each skewer was grilled right in front of us, seasoned perfectly—not too salty—and absolutely delicious. The heart sashimi was thick, flavorful, and completely free of any unpleasant odor. The drink menu was extensive, offering everything from beer and sake to fruit sours. The potato salad, with its unique square presentation, was both visually striking and incredibly tasty. This restaurant caters to a wide range of customers, from young people and office workers to the elderly. It's not just stylish but also guarantees excellent flavors.
