🍂A unique journey to Jiangnan begins in autumn! 🎋

#Autumn Places 👣 We chose Qibao Ancient Town as one of the stops on our trip to Shanghai so that we could experience the beautiful scenery of the Jiangnan water town while visiting Shanghai. It is directly connected to Qibao Station on Metro Line 9, which is very convenient! 🚇 We first took a walk around the old neighborhood. 🏘️ This place retains the characteristics of a thousand-year-old ancient town, with small bridges, flowing water, and stone alleys, as if bringing us back to ancient times. The numerous antique shops and food stalls on the street attracted our attention. 😍 Dad couldn’t resist buying an antique-style fan, and my daughter fell in love with a handmade soap with a floral scent, which really surprised us! After learning about the neighborhood, we began to explore the history of Qibao. This ancient town is said to have a history of thousands of years. It was first built by the descendants of the brothers Lu Ji and Lu Yun from the Jin Dynasty as the ancestral temple Lu Baoan. Later it was renamed Qibao Temple. There are seven treasures preserved in the temple, namely the Flying Buddha, the Bolai Bell, the Golden Lotus Sutra, the Sacred Tree, the Golden Rooster, the Jade Axe and the Jade Chopsticks. There is an interesting story behind every treasure, which is really curious! 🏯 Not only that, Qibao also retains the unique scenery of the Jiangnan water town. The lake, willows, ancient bridges and flowing water are breathtakingly beautiful! As we walked along the river bank, we kept leaning on the railing to watch the swimming fish and enjoy the feeling of the river breeze brushing our cheeks. What a refreshing place! 🌾 ☕️ The coffee shop by the river is also a place worth visiting. Not only is the coffee fragrant and delicious, but the service is also first-class..
