That day, I left the quiet and leisurely Meilan Lake and went to Luodian Ancient Town not far away. You can take bus 1600 from Meilan Lake to the ancient town. The main difference lies in the eaves of the buildings. This is also the reason why people go to another ancient town after visiting one. Luodian Ancient Town is located on the south bank of the mouth of the Yangtze River, in the northern part of Shanghai, and in the northwest corner of Baoshan District. Luodian Ancient Town is adjacent to Gucun Town in the south, Baogang and Yuepu in the east, Jiading District in the west, and Baoshan Industrial Park and Luojing Town in the north, with a town area of 44.19 square kilometers. Luodian Ancient Town was built during the Yuan Dynasty and has a history of more than 600 years. The ancient town has developed water and land transportation and a prosperous economy. As early as the Ming Dynasty, Luodian was a commercial town with rich products and concentrated trade. By the Qing Dynasty, cotton and cotton cloth trading was booming, so it was called Golden Luodian. The stone arch bridge is a business card of the Jiangnan water town and is a unique relic of the water town. There are three existing stone arch ancient bridges in Luodian Ancient Town: Datong Bridge (Luodian people call it Dashi Bridge), Fengde Bridge (locals call it Zhangjia Bridge) and Lailong Bridge.
