In Shanghai, the best place to go on a rainy day isn't actually a park!

It's the Shanghai Symphony Museum BJ, the second-hardest place to book in Shanghai. It's a very beautiful old house, and in the middle of the garden is a beautifully manicured lawn. There weren't many people there when I went at noon. It was so nice to take a walk by myself, get lost in my thoughts, and listen to the leaves rustling as they fell. Shanghai Symphony Museum, Exit 4, Changshu Road. Remember to book at 7:00 AM three days in advance (limited to 80 people per day. I recommend that you go at noon to enjoy having the place to yourself).
