Getting to Yu Garden is also very convenient, just a 5-minute taxi ride. Historical Charm: A Luxurious Palace Through Time 🏰 This hotel is not just an ordinary building; it consists of two buildings. One is a neoclassical building built in 1911, formerly the Shanghai Club, and now a historical building with all suites. Walking inside, you're immediately enveloped in a retro ambiance, as if transported back to the glamorous golden age. During the restoration, the hotel preserved many traditional designs, such as the exquisite carvings and vintage chandeliers, with every detail telling a story of history. Room Experience: Luxury in the Details 🛏️ The room I stayed in was fantastic, quite spacious, and with plenty of natural light. The decor was simple yet cozy, and the bedding was incredibly soft, making for a very comfortable sleep. The bathroom was decorated with marble and stocked with Aesop toiletries. What surprised me most were the high-tech amenities in the room, such as the HD anti-fog TV screen embedded in the bathroom mirror, and the super comfortable bathrobe that I didn't want to take off.
