Dining at The Kitchen Table during breakfast hours offers a buffet-style experience with a wide variety of dishes, including bread, salads, cold dishes, hot dishes, and live cooking stations. The food is generally good, and the lamb chops are particularly surprising—they are tender and free of any gamey taste, contrary to expectations. The environment is quite pleasant, featuring outdoor seating, a glasshouse (semi-outdoor), and indoor areas. We chose the glasshouse, which has a beautiful ambiance. However, the outdoor area may have people smoking. The bread section offers a wide selection, including croissants, donuts, dinner rolls, muffins, and freshly made waffles. There are also various jams and honey available. The live cooking stations feature four options: braised beef noodles, rice noodles, pork wontons, scallion oil noodles, and pork dumplings. We tried the braised beef noodles and pork wontons. The braised beef noodles didn’t taste as expected and felt unfamiliar, while the pork wontons were mostly dough with a thin layer of pork filling, which was also not to our taste. Overall, the variety is abundant and satisfying, and the environment is beautiful, making it a worthwhile visit.
