On a whim, I found myself in Shanghai's Fengxian District, a sanctuary away from the bustling city and a great place to explore nature and culture. The streets and alleys of Nanqiao Town hold many surprises, and the Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai Fengxian was my base for this trip. From here, it is just a few minutes' drive to either the Fengxian Long-Distance Bus Station or East Huancheng Road. There are also many attractions worth exploring nearby, such as Shanghai Fish Park, with its beautiful lakes and art sculptures, which is a great place to take photos; and Qingcun Old Street, where you can experience the charm of a traditional Jiangnan water town.
