#discoverchina Zhang Yuan is a collection of classic Shanghainese shikumen buildings which have been refurbished and transformed into flagship stores for luxury brands like Dior and Louis Vuitton. Newly reopened in 2023 after renovations following the eviction of the last remaining residents, the cluster of buildings now host many popups and commercial events. Located in central Jing An district, the brick buildings are now a popular spot for tourists and locals alike to have photo shoots.
