It wasn't open last time I visited Shanghai, but this time I made a special trip to check out the Captain No.5 Youth Hotel in Shanghai. Finally got to experience it 🥳 —————————— The location is super convenient! Right in Lujiazui, just 200 meters from the subway. A perfect blend of coffee by day and drinks by night, combining café, hotel, and entertainment in one. An absolute must-visit spot! The third-floor common area is full of retro vibes. The red-toned retro style under warm yellow lighting creates an atmosphere that’s simply perfect. Great for photos and super photogenic 📸 Whether reading, watching movies, chatting, or gaming, the relaxed vibe here is warm and inviting, even cozier than a midnight diner. Swap stories over craft beer, and they even organize fun game activities. —————————— The facilities are incredibly well-equipped! Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, microwave, water dispenser, and washing machine—all available. Floors five and six house the rooms, with options like four-bed dorms, six-bed dorms, queen rooms, and twin rooms. The mattresses are super comfy, and the decor is simple yet playful. The bathrooms are all dry-wet separated, clean and convenient. The front desk staff are warm and attentive.
