Last week, my college friend and I spontaneously decided on a two-day-one-night power walk through Shanghai. After walking over 20,000 steps daily, coming back exhausted and being able to fall asleep fast in a relatively quiet space was a lifesaver—it let us recover enough energy to keep exploring the next day. The common areas were comfortable too. Mornings saw more people in the washroom, but everyone kept it orderly and quick. In the lobby, you'd often see girls checking routes or snacking, each doing their own thing without bothering others, yet the vibe stayed friendly. That feeling of not needing to socialize but knowing you're surrounded by women who'd help if needed—it was just right for tired travelers who didn't want extra interaction. Location was super convenient, just minutes from the subway. Prices were fair too—split between us, it came to under ¥100 per person per night. For a power walk trip with friends, finding somewhere safe, quiet, restful, well-located, and affordable made this a really satisfying choice amid our rushed itinerary.
