Hangzhou Niuma goes to Shanghai Disneyland (Rainy Day Version)

Disney punishes everyone who doesn't plan for rainy days... During the plum rain season, if you book Disneyland in advance, you're likely to encounter rain! Don't worry, don't be disappointed. At first, I went with the mindset of paying to suffer, but after entering the park, I experienced a different kind of enjoyment! Because it was raining, many one-day visitors might refund their tickets (although refunds require a 20% fee, they prefer to bear the loss of a few dozen yuan rather than play in the rain) So the number of visitors that day was much lower than usual! Most of the visitors were those who had already booked the park hotel (because it’s non-refundable) So, since we’re here, let’s make the best of it. Disneyland Hotel Sharing my experience of visiting the park on a rainy day: 👉 Supplies: 1. Umbrella *1 2. Raincoat *number of people 3. Rent a stroller in advance *1 (if you have kids, the stroller has a rain cover) 4. Crocs (summer, no socks), if no Crocs, bring good waterproof shoe covers. 5. Waterproof backpack (I brought a Goyard, really versatile, can be placed on the ground, can get wet) 👉 Playing: 【Entry Time】: With the hotel’s early access ticket 🎫, you can enter 90 minutes early. But since we were a bit lazy that day, we lingered at the hotel having breakfast and only chose to enter 30 minutes early. 【Order of Attractions After Entry】: Morning 1. Zootopia (deep inside the park, you can rush straight there after entering, almost no queue, you get on right away) 2. Pirates of the Caribbean (a popular ride that usually has long lines; last summer it was 120+ minutes, but this time only 15 minutes. You can choose to do this second or third depending on the queue) 3. Soaring Over the Horizon (same as above. We did this third, the wait was a bit longer because more people had entered by then. Queue 20-30 minutes) 4. Thunder Mountain River Run (many rafting devices, queue 10 minutes) 5. Storm Rider (if you have time, definitely watch this! Captain Jack is so cool! Lots of special effects! Queue 10 minutes) 6. Mickey’s PhilharMagic (book in advance, queue 5 minutes) All of the above were completed before 1:00 PM ✅ Noon 13:00-15:00 Leisurely had lunch and rested at Gui Man Long Afternoon 1. 15:15 Watch the parade (some top characters still perform on rainy days, Mickey & Minnie, LinaBell, StellaLou, Duffy and friends...) 2. The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (queue 20 minutes) 3. Carousel (queue 5 minutes) 4. Outdoor rides (Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Woody’s Roundup, Slinky Dog... choose whichever has the shortest line that day, you can basically get on quickly) Fireworks still at 9:00 PM 🎆 Dumbo the Flying Elephant Thunder Mountain River Run
