Tucked inside MOHO Mall at Jiangning Road, Avenue & Son’s skatepark redefines what urban skate culture can be—this isn’t your usual concrete jungle. The space features smooth marble and polished cement surfaces, punctuated by sculptural ramps and custom modules that merge street-style flow with minimalist design. Adorned with metallic adidas and Avenue & Son branding, the park exudes a cool mix of simplicity and luxury. Born from the Shanghai skate scene in 2014, Avenue & Son’s flagship shop and adjoining park was created to blend street culture with upscale retail. Designed by Various Associates, it sits in Qiantan Taikoo Li—a neighborhood that blends urban style, art, and lifestyle—with the park opening in mid‑2024 and free for public use. More than a skate spot, it feels like a cultural hub. Skaters flow between the indoor-outdoor tiers, using ramps, ledges, and manual pads while surrounded by natural light and clean architecture.
