Shanghai Luxury Infinity Pool Hotel: Hilton Shanghai Fengxian

Shanghai is a world-renowned tourist destination, attracting thousands of visitors daily. Among its many luxury hotels, the Hilton Shanghai Fengxian stands out as a top choice for its infinity pool experience. Located in the southern Fengxian district within the Oriental Financial Town, the hotel is about a one-hour drive from downtown Shanghai. Opened in 2021, the facilities are modern and well-maintained. During summer weekends, the hotel is often fully booked. Weekend rates are in the high hundreds, but with the Hilton brand and dual pools, it's worth it! The beautiful surroundings and strong vacation vibes make it a great getaway. The hotel features both indoor and outdoor pools, perfect for stunning photos. Additionally, there are on-site attractions like a petting zoo, go-karting, and water sports. For hot weather, it's recommended to book a room in the main building for easy access to the pools and restaurants. Villa rooms, on the other hand, offer more tranquility. Rooms: The smallest rooms are 55 square meters, featuring a balcony with a pleasant south-facing view and fresh air. Twin beds can be combined, and the bathrooms are designed with separate bathtub, shower, and toilet areas. Rooms come with a minibar, a capsule coffee machine, complimentary snacks, and a fruit platter. South-facing lake view rooms are slightly more expensive, while north-facing rooms are more affordable but still offer decent views. Indoor Pool: The indoor pool can get crowded on Saturday afternoons, with all lockers often occupied. It's recommended to change into swimwear in your room before heading to the pool. We waited 15 minutes for a locker key. The indoor pool is reportedly open to the public. After 5 PM on Saturdays and around noon on Sundays, the pool is much less crowded. Avoid Saturday afternoons during summer for a more relaxed experience. Outdoor Pool: The outdoor pool offers a tropical island vibe with a large pool area and beautiful lakeside views. The water is shallow, and there are lounge chairs around the pool. On Saturdays, the crowd is manageable. The pool water gets warm under the sun, so it's best to visit in the evening when it stays open until 7 PM. Recreational Activities: The hotel offers a petting zoo, go-karting, and a mini train, all of which are paid activities. We skipped these due to the heat, but they seem like great options in cooler weather.
