Jiangnan Water Town

I first went to the Former Residence of Wang Yangming, which was not crowded at all. The area is home to many locals and is not commercialized at all. I was able to experience the Jiangnan water town described in my Chinese textbook. On the way to the Former Residence of Cai Yuanpei, I passed a street where fish, duck, and cured meat were hung in the shops, on the roadside, and even on the trees. It was so interesting! The Former Residence of Lu Xun was very crowded. I saw the Sanwei Study Room from my Chinese textbook and the "Zao" character carved by Lu Xun. I also saw someone dressed as Lu Xun, who looked very similar! Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo with him. I then went to Cangqiao Straight Street, which was full of food stalls and very commercialized. I passed a teahouse playing the story of Kong Yiji, which was very atmospheric.
