Stroll Along Cangqiao Straight Street in Shaoxing

Cangqiao Straight Street is located in the Yuewang City Historical District of Shaoxing. It starts from Shengli West Road in the north and ends at Lu Xun West Road in the south, with a total length of about 1.5 km. The street features rivers, residential houses, stone roads, and many traditional ancient stone bridges such as Cangqiao Bridge. The riverside is lined with water town residences from the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China, with 43 different types of doorways. The street is lined with shops and restaurants, as well as cultural venues such as the Yue Art Museum. Here, you can experience the Wupeng boat and taste delicacies such as stinky tofu. Cangqiao Straight Street has won the "UNESCO Asia-Pacific Heritage Award" and is a "living showcase of Chinese heritage."
