Visit to Ikaho Shrine

This place has a history of 1,200 years and is where locals pray for health, marriage and hot spring safety. The shrine is not big, but the atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. Walking through the red torii gate, ringing the bell, throwing in a 5 yen coin, and simply making a wish is like calming your mind. Standing in front of the shrine and looking down, the entire stone street is right under your feet, with the mountain scenery in the distance, which is super healing.
