Ikaho Shrine, the guardian deity of Ikaho Onsen - A journey to make a wish at the top of the stone steps

Ikaho Shrine is a historic shrine located at the top of the 365th step of the stone steps in Ikaho Onsen, Shibukawa City, Gunma Prefecture. Said to have been founded around 1,300 years ago, it has long been worshipped as the guardian deity of the hot springs, and the deity of matchmaking, fertility, and safe childbirth. Many tourists who visit Ikaho Onsen come to pray at the shrine, praying for a safe journey and good relationships, making it one of Ikaho's most famous spots. On weekdays, goshuin stamps are only available in advance.
