Spectacular ocean view! Shimoda Prince Hotel!

This time, I went to Shimoda Prince Hotel in Shizuoka Prefecture! Prince Hotels & Resorts is operated by Seibu Prince Hotels Worldwide Co., Ltd., a member of the Seibu Group, and one of its group companies is Seibu Railway, which connects Tokyo and Saitama. Prince Hotels do not operate hotels alone, but rather own many leisure facilities such as ski resorts, golf courses, and hot spring facilities in addition to the hotels, and it seems that they are making an effort to make hotel stays more memorable. Currently, the Prince Hotel Group has a total of 86 hotels, 58 in Japan and 28 overseas, and is one of the largest resort and city hotel chains in Japan. The hotel brands are Prince Smart Inn, Prince Hotel, Grand Prince Hotel, The Prince, and The Prince Gallery. The Shimoda Prince Hotel, where I stayed this time, is located on the southern side of the Izu Peninsula in Shizuoka Prefecture, facing the sea. It is more than 5 km away from Izukyu Shimoda Station on the Izu Kyuko Railway, but there is a free shuttle bus, so you can rest assured even if you come by train. All rooms have an ocean view, and when you open the window, you can hear the sound of the waves, so you can relax! The hotel is managed by Prince Hotel, but it was once a franchise hotel managed by Izu Hakone Railway. The room I stayed in this time was a twin room type B. The interior of the room is based on warm orange, and the colors are cozy and calming. This hotel opened in 1973 and has a long history. Furthermore, since it faces the sea, the exterior is inevitably old due to the sea breeze, but the interior of the room seems to be regularly renovated, and the wallpaper, carpet, and light switches in the guest room are all new, so I was surprised at how beautiful it was. The room was spacious at 35.6 m2, with a panoramic ocean view from the large window, and a balcony, so it was designed to be open and spacious! As you can see in the eighth photo, there are plenty of clothes hangers in the room to hang your clothes, so you can rest assured even after swimming in the sea! This stay was far more comfortable than I expected! #AccommodationReview #PhotogenicHotel #HotelWithASpectacularView #LuxuryHotel #Hocans #ShimodaPrinceHotel #PrinceHotel
