Mt. Tokachi

Tokachi is wonderful, and you can enjoy the mountain-like scenery of Hokkaido. Only around Mt. Tokachi is a rocky zone due to the influence of volcanoes, and it feels like you came to an alien planet. I felt that this series of unique landscapes such as high matsu belts, pebble belts, cliffs, and rocks was a wonderful place around this mountain. From Bogakudai, if you are confident in your leg strength and endurance, it will be Mt. Tokachi via Mt. Biei, otherwise it will be a piston, but the scenery you can see is completely different. I think it's good to have a route to stay overnight at the Biei Fuji evacuation hut and then go down the mountain via Mt. Tokachi the next day.
