Among them, Sichuan and Cantonese cuisines are famous all over the world. Among them, I visited a famous Mapo Tofu restaurant with a long history of 160 years. We took the elevator from the underground parking lot and were guided to the inner group room. There were huge and pretty ponds and private rooms at the back of the building. We had a meal in one of them and enjoyed tea time. While waiting for our group, we looked around the restaurant. There were other ponds in front of the restaurant, and it was a place selected as a famous restaurant in China, like the Blue Ribbon in Korea. When Mapo Tofu came out, the staff focused on it and briefly explained its history, and one of the group also held the opening ceremony. I like tofu, so I've tried a lot of Mapo Tofu, but this place has a unique, sophisticated flavor, and although it was a casual Chinese meal, it felt like a high-class dish.
