Vimuttiyaphurithatnuson Pagoda

Chedi Vimuttiya Phurithatnuson, Ubon Ratchathani Province 🙏🌷 is a memorial site for Luang Pu Man Phurithatto, enshrining the relics of the Lord Buddha in the spire of the monument. Inside the chedi, there is a statue of Luang Pu Man, so that Buddhists have the opportunity to pay homage and remember him. 🌅 with a halo, a symbol of the enlightenment of the Lord Buddha, which is shaped like a lotus flower, meaning the symbol of Ubon Ratchathani Province and the flower of Buddhism. 💧 The layout of the area was inspired by a water droplet with a circular radius that expands in a wide circle, comparable to the charisma of Luang Pu Man, who was a famous teacher in the Vipassana meditation tradition. 🪷 On both sides of the stairs are lotus ponds, which are the symbol of Ubon Ratchathani Province. On the side of the stairs, there are terracotta tiles carved in bas-relief telling the story of his life. 🙏 The base of the memorial is a long Khan-style chedi (Thai-Isan Lan Xang), and inside the chedi, there is a statue of Luang Pu Man.
