Olsen Bakehouse

#singaporetrip Throwback to my mum’s birthday last week! my mum loves black sesame so i got her a sesame yuzu cake (5.5”) from olsen bakehouse ~ i ordered through whatsapp as it was less than two days in advance and the service was friendly and efficient, and also thorough bc they provided a box of matchsticks on the house (besides the usual candles and cake knife)!! the cake was a soft and moist chiffon cake with a subtle black sesame taste and tangy yuzu curd. i actually felt like i did not eat anything after eating a slice bc the cake was so light (in a good way) LOL and coming from someone who is in the process of slowly appreciating black sesame flavoured cakes, i wouldn’t mind eating more of this mild cake hehe #trip #cafe
