Singapore Shangri-La: Fall in Love After Just One Stay!

On my recent trip to Singapore, I booked the Shangri-La Hotel through FHR, and the experience was absolutely amazing! I stayed in a City View King Room in the Valley Wing. The walk-in closet connected to the bathroom exuded a charming Southeast Asian vibe, making it a perfect spot for photos. The afternoon tea from 3 to 5 PM was served as a set menu and tasted delightful. Unfortunately, I missed the happy hour from 5 to 7 PM as I had to head out. Booking through FHR also came with a $100 credit (equivalent to SGD 135). For a late-night snack, I ordered laksa, chicken satay skewers, and lobster bisque. The next day, I enjoyed bak kut teh and noodles at the lobby lounge for lunch—everything was delicious! However, the hotel does have a minor downside. The breakfast area in the main building felt like a fast-food restaurant—crowded, with average food quality. If I had stayed another night, I would have definitely tried breakfast at the Summit Room below the Valley Wing. Overall, though, the stay was fantastic. From the room's design to the dining and service, it was all worth experiencing. If you're planning a trip to Singapore, consider this hotel!
