This is Oh Poi Market, Suan Phueng District, Ratchaburi Province. It is a morning market by the stream that is popular with tourists visiting Suan Phueng. The word Oh Poi comes from the Karen language and means “rest.” Therefore, people who come here will feel like they are here to relax, find something to eat, walk around, and chill by the stream, and relax with nature. The highlight here is that from 7:30-8:00 AM, monks will float on bamboo rafts along the Pachi River and come to the pier here so that tourists can give alms.
