The life-size model of a crane at the entrance caught my eye. It was amazing that such an elaborate machine was made with technology from 200 years ago!! The original copy of the Hwaseongseongyeok Uigwe was on display, and the detailed illustrations and explanations on each page were amazing!! 📌 Points for solo travelers Recommended experience: Mini castle building → Assemble a scale model of the castle wall yourself (25 minutes, 6,000 won) Hidden spot: 2nd floor "Jeongjo's Study" → Yesterday's Thought Exhibition Space with few people Recommended snack: Museum cafe "Haengcha Tea Café" (7,500 won) → Reproducing the food eaten during the Hwaseong Procession 🚨 Notes The castle experience ends at 4:30 p.m. (needs time to organize the blocks) The study exhibition room is dark, so it's difficult to take pictures Weekends are crowded with groups, so I recommend visiting on weekdays While watching the video of the castle wall construction process, a notification popped up saying that my battery was at 15%, so I quickly looked for a charger ㅋㅋ The Hwaseong map (5,000 won) I made at the experience zone was a tearful failure because I accidentally drew the wrong location of the Dongbuk Gongsimdon.. My own money.. The last VR Hwaseong Procession in the exhibition hall was a special experience of looking at Suwon from Jeongjo's perspective!! It was so real, it was so amazing!!
