Escape the Summer Heat by Hiking Yuan Zui Mountain

Yuan Zui Mountain, located in Heping District, Taichung, is a highly popular mid-level mountain in central Taiwan. A hike here offers a mix of gentle forest trails and thrilling high cliffs. Thanks to its high cost-performance ratio, it can get as bustling as Ximending on weekends. Is the breathtaking view at the summit a matter of luck or personal effort? This time, the weather was shrouded in white mist, obscuring the distant mountains. The rock climbing sections along the way were enveloped in a white wall of fog, reducing the fear factor of scaling steep cliffs. The mist along the trail floated like a light veil, creating a dreamlike atmosphere for the climb. Luckily, at a popular photo spot, we caught a fleeting moment of blue sky as the clouds parted, offering a glimpse of sunshine.
