Visit Fulin Park

Fulin Park is located at the intersection of Zhongshan North Road and Fulin Road in Shilin District. Completed in 1991, the park spans approximately 2.6 hectares and is triangular in shape, serving as an open-style comprehensive park. The park's most distinctive feature is its elegant artistic sculptures designed by Mr. Li Zhizhiwen, the head of the Fine Arts Department at the Academy of Arts. Inspired by natural landscapes, the sculptures include six groups: Sun, Cloud, Mountain, Waterfall, Water, and Well. Using abstract techniques, these sculptures transform natural scenery into three-dimensional forms resembling hieroglyphs. Except for 'Water,' which is cast in bronze, the other five groups are made from natural stone (though the artistic style is so abstract that I could only recognize the Well). These nature-inspired sculptures are integrated throughout the park, creating a unique visual experience with varying effects and aesthetics depending on the viewing angle. The inclusive playground in Fulin Park is perfect for kids to play for free. The UFO-shaped play equipment is particularly eye-catching, featuring a mix of fun facilities such as a gravel sandbox, climbing challenges, spinning slides, and swings nearby. The park is easily accessible via the MRT, with Shilin Station just a short walk away.
