Originating in Yilan, Grain Warehouse No. 1, known for the best all-you-can-eat hot pot in Yilan, expanded to Taipei last year 🥳 The location used to be Mantanghong, which feels so familiar 😂 Nowadays, there are tons of all-you-can-eat hot pot options. My usual picks are Sun Tai Tai and Damo Hong, so I rarely try new places. But I noticed Gomaji offering two-person and three-person vouchers—each person pays $728 for the $788 + 10% price! With cashback, it’s less than $700! The restaurant offers three pricing tiers: $688, $788, and $898. After choosing your soup base, you scan a QR code to start ordering. There are eight soup options without extra charges, except for Tomato and Pepper Pork Stomach, which require an additional fee. Today, we tried Spicy Double Pepper and Milk Miso, and both were great! For the $788 price point, the selection of meats and seafood is quite extensive, satisfying the cravings of most foodies. We focused on beef and seafood today. The Australian Wagyu, US Prime Ribeye, Snowflake, Marbled, and Chuck Steak were all excellent 😉. The quality of the Beef Trio was also impressive 👍. The seafood was the highlight—clams, small grass shrimp, and white shrimp were all fresh. It’s been a while since I’ve had non-live shrimp that tasted sweet! Vegetables and hot pot ingredients are in the self-service area, with plenty of choices. After the meal, there’s fruit, desserts, and eight flavors of Häagen-Dazs, Hummingbird Ice Cream, and Ming Guo popsicles! The selection of bottled drinks is unbeatable 😂. Some desserts are sourced from Yi Shun Xuan (today, only Longan Cake). On weekdays from 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM, there’s an afternoon tea buffet for $300 + 10%. The ingredients are good, and the service and environment are excellent.
