Cycling has always been a great choice for family trips, especially when riding through the Hualien-Taitung Valley, surrounded by mountains and water, fields and forests. If you have to pick one place to recommend, the 'Guanshan Town Circular Bike Path' in Taitung's Guanshan Town is definitely the top choice! The 12-kilometer-long circular bike path is divided into two sections: the water-friendly section and the mountain-friendly section. Starting from Guanshan Water Park, it follows the shallow Guanshan Dapai and Hongshi Creek, offering expansive field views along the way. Overlooking the crisscrossing rice paddies, your mood will naturally lift. With beautiful mountains, water, and scenery, cycling in Guanshan doesn't feel tiring at all.
