Muzi Matcha Cafe

#ipohfood Made a lunch stop at this little cafe in Ipoh I found on Maps. There was a comfortable number of people there, that is enough for you to know it’s good without being too overcrowded. The ambience was fairly zen, matching the Japanese decor. The food and tea was indeed good and fast. The salmon ochazuke with its sides to share was perfect for a light lunch. They bring their Japanese tea in from Shizuoka, Japan’s green tea capital so you know the drinks won’t disappoint. The spicy seafood ramen is very recommended, reasonably priced, and seafood is given generously. Ochazuke salmon rice is unique with a variety of flavours from the side dishes. Matcha strawberry tiramisu and strawberry daifu are must-try. Atmosphere 10 out of 10. Can tell that the owner must have put a lot of effort into the design and every detail of the restaurant.
