The first theory is that Wat Maniwong was built in 1903 and was awarded the Royal Wisongkanthima Medal (the area where the temple was built) in 1948. Another theory is that Wat Maniwong was originally a Wat Rat-level temple, originally named Wat Nong Kapo, built in 1895. Phrakhru Sangkharak Sukhum was the first monk to spend Lent at the temple and was also the first abbot of the temple. In 1942, Phrakhru Sangkharak Sukhum was promoted to Phrakhru Wisit Sangkhakari and changed the name of the temple to Wat Maniwong. On May 14, 1954, the temple was awarded the Royal Vesongkanthima Order. 🏛️ The chapel was built in 1953. It is a brass church engraved with patterns, which is very eye-catching. Around the wall there is the main Buddha image - Luang Pho Siwali.
