The Peach Blossom Dike on March 19th was incredibly beautiful. I made plans with my friend to visit the Peach Blossom Dike today, and we thought we'd also check out Xigu Park. However, our planning wasn't thorough enough, and we ended up walking a lot more than necessary. We went to Xigu Park first. My friend took the subway, and I took the bus, considering the parking situation nearby isn't very convenient. Important note: Make sure to enter the Peach Blossom Dike from the Qinjian Road side. The exit near Xigu Park is exit-only. If you go the wrong way, you'll have to walk a long way around to the entrance. However, if you have time after leaving the Peach Blossom Dike, you can visit Xigu Park across the street. Cross the road and walk straight in; you'll find the east gate of Xigu Park. Just inside to the right, there's a large area of peach blossoms. The park has bridges, water, and a "Yellow Leaf Village" with stone structures. The peach blossoms at the Peach Blossom Dike were in full bloom today, absolutely stunning. The only downside was the crowds, haha. If you plan to drive, try to go early or park farther away and walk. My friend and I also bought some cultural and creative ice cream bars, 18 for one or 30 for two. They were quite pretty and added to the festive atmosphere. There are many food vendors near the exit, and some in the middle of the Peach Blossom Dike as well. If you get hungry, you can grab a bite there. Near the exit, there are also several small rest areas with chairs where you can sit down. Overall, it's definitely worth a visit. There are also several photographers available to take pictures for you, and you can even rent Hanfu for photos. If you're interested, you can take some beautiful pictures. I heard the peach blossoms only last for a week, so if you want to see them, hurry up and don't miss out!
