Spring Travel｜Let’s go to Tokyo to enjoy the cherry blossoms!

In March 2023, my sister and I hit it off. It happened that Japan lifted the mask order, so we went on a spontaneous spring flower-viewing trip to Tokyo. We were worried that we would arrive too early and the cherry blossoms would not be in full bloom (3.18-3.22). Unexpectedly, we encountered a surprise that the cherry blossoms were almost in full bloom. First, it was sunny for three consecutive days on the second day of arrival (of course, the temperature also rose accordingly, and it started to rainy on the fifth day when we left Tokyo). I would like to share my good luck with you guys! 📍Cherry blossom viewing location: This time, I selected several classic places to find 🌸trajectory based on the pre-trip strategy. Each place has its own characteristics, and everyone can enjoy cherry blossoms in a targeted manner based on their preferences. 🌸Sumida Park (Exit 5 of Sensō-ji Station), a good place to view pink early cherry blossoms (Kawazu cherry blossoms), there is a step that forms an ideal photo composition with the Tokyo Skytree, and it is a hot spot for taking photos. 🌸Ueno Park: (JR Ueno Station) Mainly Somei Yoshi Sakura, I took the Skyliner to Ueno to store my luggage when I arrived in Tokyo that day and went to see the cherry trees at the gate. The white cherry blossoms and the lanterns at the gate of Ueno are a perfect match. 🌸Zojoji Temple: (Exit A6 of Daimon Station) A good place to take pictures with the Tokyo Tower. As soon as you enter the gate, you can see the cherry trees in full bloom, which is a perfect match with the red and white Tokyo Tower, which is very suitable for taking pictures. 🌸Nakameguro: (Nakameguro Station) There is a river for cherry blossom viewing, and there are pink lanterns dotted along the row. The crowds of people watching cherry blossoms are surging, which is suitable for taking pictures, but you have to rely on luck for portraits. There is the recently popular Nakameguro Starbucks along the way (it is said that you have to take a number in the morning and it is your turn to buy coffee in the afternoon🥹). Fortunately, I enjoyed the spectacular beauty of 80% of its blooming on the morning of the return trip. We walked all the way to the upstream Ikejiri Bridge at that time, which was a wish come true. 🌸Shinjuku Gyoen: (National Stadium Station Exit A5, JR Sendagaya Station) The largest and most concentrated cherry blossom viewing area in Tokyo. You need to buy a ticket to enter the park (500 yen, you may have to queue to enter the park during peak hours). There are large lawns and clusters of cherry blossom trees. On sunny days with plenty of time, it is very suitable to invite three friends to have a picnic and enjoy the cherry blossoms together!
