Chidorigafuchi Moat

Chidorigafuchi Moat can be accessed via Tokyo Metro's Kudanshita Station, with the exit leading directly to Chidorigafuchi, making it very convenient. Chidorigafuchi has a long history, having been built as the outer moat of Edo Castle during the Edo period. In the Meiji period, it became part of the Imperial Palace grounds. This place is not only famous for its cherry blossoms but also a scenic spot where you can enjoy views of the Imperial Palace and its surroundings. This is also a well-known cherry blossom viewing spot in Tokyo. Every year from late March to early April, hundreds of cherry trees bloom around the moat. Walking through the cherry blossom forest or rowing a boat to enjoy the blossoms is very poetic. At night, the lights illuminate the cherry blossoms, and their reflections on the river create a mesmerizing scene, like cherry blossom snow.
