Plum blossoms at Sengakuji Temple

These plum blossoms have the striking names of "Bloodstained Plum" and "Bloodstained Stone." These plum blossoms and stones were near Asano Takumi-no-kami when he passed away, and are said to have been moved from the garden of Tamura Ukyodayu's residence. They are on the way to the grave of the Ako Gishi at Sengaku-ji Temple. #PlumBlossoms
