Toruń, the hometown of Copernicus

Walking in the old town of Toruń, the hometown of Copernicus, feels like traveling back to the Middle Ages. The ancient red brick buildings and winding cobblestone roads, every corner is full of history. I visited Copernicus's former residence and got a sense of the growing up background of this great astronomer. The town is not big, but there are surprises at every step, especially the famous gingerbread aroma that fills the air and makes people want to taste it. The lights in Toruń are gentle at night, and a quiet walk along the Vistula River is an indescribable romance. This is truly a gem worth visiting. #NewYear2025 #Poland
