Must-Visit Arctic Cathedral in Tromsø

The Arctic Cathedral is a Catholic church with an exterior design inspired by the curves of the Northern Lights, spiraling upwards to form a 47-meter high bell tower. The facade is covered with titanium metal. The interior features a warm-colored main hall symbolizing the warm love of Christ, creating a stark contrast with the cool-colored exterior materials. Irregular vertical windows and skylights cleverly introduce light into the church, creating a wonderful play of light and shadow. We were attracted to this beautiful church from afar. Not only is the exterior eye-catching, but the interior design is also full of ingenuity.
