A place created by the Ramsar Convention The area around the upper and lower ponds is simply a wetland. It also serves as the trailhead to Mt. Takadate. Many wild birds including migratory birds. We are passionately working to exterminate alien species, mainly bullfrogs and crayfish. We were welcomed by kind staff in a building with a very warm atmosphere, and we had a great time.
