Futaarayama Shrine is the Ichinomiya of Shimotsuke Province, located in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture. It is pronounced "Futaarayama Jinja". The deities worshipped are Toyokiirihiko-no-Mikoto, Omononushi-no-Mikoto, and Kotoshironushi-no-Mikoto. Toyokiirihiko-no-Mikoto is the first son of the 10th Emperor Sujin. He is worshipped as the ancestral deity and chief tutelary deity of the region that developed Kenokuni Province (Tochigi Prefecture, Gunma Prefecture). The shrine is located on a hilltop, accessible by passing through a large torii gate and climbing up stone steps. Oya stone was used to build the shrine's stone walls during the Edo period, and you can still see the stone walls today.
