"A fantastic prayer ceremony held on the Ganges River at night" Ganga Aarti is a ceremony to offer thanks and prayer to the Ganges River. It is held every night at Dashashwamedh Ghat in Varanasi. The first thing that surprised me when I participated was the number of participants. There were so many people that it was impossible to see from one end to the other, and I felt the power up close.
