There are many waterfalls and pools in Baizhangxia Scenic Area. Tianding Lake is located above Baizhangxia and is the reservoir of Baizhangxia Hydropower Station. It is named after the saying "Nine cities and nine ridges, all of which reach the sky". The lake is divided into two parts, inner and outer parts, shaped like a sleeping dragon, with an area of ​​5.4 square kilometers, a catchment area of ​​97.8 square kilometers, and a lake capacity of 60.6 million cubic meters. The Baizhang Waterfall Scenic Area covers an area of ​​105 square kilometers and is mainly composed of two major scenic areas: Liu Ji's Hometown Scenic Area and Baizhang Waterfall Scenic Area. It has the characteristics of majestic waterfalls, strange peaks, beautiful lakes, beautiful pools and numerous cultural landscapes. It is a "V"-shaped deep ravine located on the top of a mountain with an altitude of 300 to 638 meters. The ravine is 1,200 meters long, about 3 kilometers deep, with a drop of 353 meters and a total area of ​​2.95 square kilometers. The upper reaches of the waterfall gather rainfall in an area of ​​more than 200 square kilometers. It converges into a torrent that rushes into a valley hundreds of feet deep, forming a group of stepped waterfalls with the first fall a hundred feet high, the second fall a hundred feet deep, and the third fall a hundred feet wide. Among them, Baizhangyiji is the highest single waterfall in China, 207 meters high and more than 30 meters wide. The three sides of the water mouth are steep cliffs, forming a deep canyon in the middle.
