But this time, my trip to Shanxi to visit ancient sites truly left me in awe. The most impressive place was a Zen Buddhist temple, known as the "suspended sculpture masterpiece" in the history of Chinese sculpture art. The temple is filled with exquisite clay sculptures. Halls, pavilions, shrines, exotic flowers and trees, rare birds and beasts... These lifelike sculptures create a magnificent scene. From Bodhisattvas to celestial musicians, every detail is imbued with unique charm, making it a breathtaking aesthetic feast. The clay sculptures are intricately detailed, with expressions, postures, clothing, and even the surrounding environment exuding artistic flair.
