Zou Ancestral Hall, Gulonggang Town, Xingguo County, Jiangxi Province.

The Zou Ancestral Hall in Gulonggang Town was built during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. It faces south, with a brick and wood structure, gable roof, fireproof gable walls, three doors, granite door frames, and panel doors. The ancestral hall is divided into upper and lower halls, with a courtyard in between. The beam frame is of the chuandou type, and the ceiling of the lower hall features an octagonal caisson. In early July 1931, the Central Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Soviet Area and the Central Revolutionary Military Commission, led by Xiang Ying, were stationed at the Zou Ancestral Hall in Gulonggang Town. They used a radio transmitter and receiver seized from the Kuomintang army and radio codes brought by Ren Bishi from Shanghai to conduct the first radio code communication in the history of the Chinese military. This communication involved transmitting military intelligence about the Kuomintang's third encirclement campaign against the Central Soviet Area to the headquarters and the General Front Committee of the First Red Army in Jianning, Fujian. This communication laid the foundation for the Red Army's victory in the third counter-encirclement campaign. After the Red Army established code communication, it ensured the confidentiality of troop movements and successfully implemented a strategic transfer over a thousand miles, laying a solid foundation for the Red Army's victory. The former site of the Central Bureau of the CPC Soviet Area (including the first radio code communication) is of significant value for studying radio communication during the Central Soviet Area period. It is a key cultural relic protection unit in Xingguo County.
