A one-day tour of Maweiyi around Xi'an, visiting the folk village and Maoling Museum, is simply too rich

On the second day of the New Year's Day holiday, the family drove for two hours to visit Xingping Maweiyi Folk Village. I came here again after two years and found that the environment here is getting better and better. The floor has been repaved and the store is clean and tidy inside and out. Because we went early and there were fewer tourists, our family wandered around the place, each of us drank a bowl of thick soy milk, bought braised tofu and steamed buns to take away, and my mother and I ate tofu pudding and fried cakes, which tasted really good. Maweiyi is the best managed folk village in Xi'an. It is the most beautiful season around May Day every year. When you come here, you can see high-quality roses of various colors everywhere, with big buds, red, yellow and pink competing for beauty. You can walk around, then sit in the teahouse in the Folk Square to drink tea, appreciate the flowers, and enjoy the slow life. It is really pleasant. After visiting the folk village, the family came to a halal restaurant in Xingping County for lunch. Unexpectedly, the restaurant was so popular that the waiting time for a table was more than half an hour. Finally we sat down to eat, and were satisfied with the dishes, steamed buns and environment. After having a good meal and a drink, we went to visit the Maoling Museum not far away. The museum has a rich collection. It not only has the tomb of the young god of war of the Western Han Dynasty - General Huo Qubing, and 14 national treasures, but also has pavilions, towers, bridges and flowing water. The environment is extremely beautiful. The 50 yuan ticket is worth it. It is a place you want to visit again after visiting it once. It was already evening when we left Maoling Museum and returned home. The day’s holiday schedule was rich, colorful and enjoyable.
