Htamane Festival in Myanmar 🇲🇲

#newyearnewtrip #myanmar Htamane Festival in Myanmar happens roughly around the end of February as the cold weather somewhat grows gentler on the people. It is usually prepared around what Burmese people call Tabodwe (just remember is as the full moon day of february haha) Htamane is made from glutinous rice and other local delights. People may gather around it make it together as a festival. My family usually sets up a big pot in our garden back home and cook it together! Truly when the times were much more peaceful in Myanmar.
