Yixing Ceramics Museum: Inheriting the Shining 'Light of Ceramics'

Yixing Ceramics Museum is located on Dingshan North Road, Dingshu Town, Yixing City. It is the earliest established professional ceramics museum in China. The scenic area is built along the mountain, with a majestic momentum, integrating exhibition research, tourism, shopping, and ceramic art school exchanges. The Ceramic Museum covers an area of more than 40,000 square meters, with an exhibition area of more than 4,000 square meters, and houses more than 10,000 pieces of collections, including 9 national first-class cultural relics, 41 second-class cultural relics, and 57 third-class cultural relics. The collection spans over 7,000 years, including ancient sand-tempered pottery, Ming and Qing dynasty purple clay, contemporary beautiful colored ceramics, and modern ceramic artworks from more than 30 countries and regions.
