I spent the New Year in Yandang Mountain

As soon as you enter the scenic area, Lingfeng Scenic Area will greet you with strange peaks and rocks. Gassho Peak looks like a giant Buddha with his hands clasped together, presenting different shapes at different times of the day. When the lights are on at night, it looks like a pair of embracing lovers, which is amazing. The night view of Lingfeng is a unique sight in Yandang Mountain. It is recommended to visit it when night falls. Under the hazy moonlight, the outline of the mountain and the lights are intertwined, creating a mysterious and romantic atmosphere. Move to Lingyan Scenic Area, where there is a profound cultural history and Xu Xiake once left his footprints here. Looking up, Tianzhu Peak and Zhanqi Peak rise from the ground like two sharp swords piercing the sky. The flying show in the scenic area is not to be missed. The performers walk and jump in the sky, which is thrilling and shows the spirit of the people of Yandang Mountain who are not afraid of danger. The performance times are generally around 10:00 am and 15:00 pm, so plan your itinerary in advance. When you come to the Dalongqiu Scenic Area, the Dalongqiu Waterfall is the undisputed protagonist. The hundred-meter-high waterfall cascades down from the cliff, majestic and magnificent, like the inverted Milky Way. During the rainy season, the water is abundant and the waterfall is even more spectacular; during the dry season, it has a different kind of delicate and graceful beauty. When celebrating the New Year in Yandang Mountain, you can also experience the rich folk customs. Local residents will hold activities such as dragon and lion dances, which are very lively and add to the New Year atmosphere. It should be noted that the mountain roads in the scenic area are rugged, so you should wear comfortable sports shoes. The temperature in the mountains is low in winter, so remember to bring warm clothes.
